COMMISSIONS

BY XKUMAH

TERMS OF SERVICE

  • I reserve the right to reject any request for any reason.

  • All communication between myself and the commissioner will be conducted and documented via direct messages.

  • All private information will be kept private and confidental.

GENERAL

  • Payment can be send only via PayPal and accepted in USD or Polish Zloty.

  • Commission must be paid 100% upfront via PayPal invoice.

  • I will not begin working on a commission until the payment will be received.

PAYMENT

  • The time it takes to finish a commission varies 2 weeks - 2 months depending on the complexity of the commissioned illustration, the amount of orders in the queue and schedule changes.

  • The client can contact me via e-mail or social media in order to ask about the ongoing process.

PROCESS

  • The finished piece will be send via e-mail submitted in the inquiry. You'll receive a full-resolution version together with a web-friendly version. 

DELIVERY

  • You can request 2 rounds of detail changes whilst the process on the commission included in the price.

  • A fee will be added if you want something to be changed on the final piece - unless a mistake from my side has been made.

  • If you will submit an unclear description, without colored character sheet/illustation reference and the piece will vary from your expectations - the fee will be added once you ask for changes.

CHANGES

  • I reserve the right to display any commissioned image(s) on any websites or my portfolio​

  • I reserve full copyrights to the image and its distribution and use, unless otherwise specified

  • I will not profit further from the commissioned piece unless the customer will break any of the terms.

  • The customer must not claim my work as theirs.

  • Under no circumstances may the customer use commissioned image(s) for commercial or profit purposes, including prints and restribution.

  • The customer may use commissioned image(s) as background, wallpaper, icon and print them for personal purposes such as decorating their room and/or workspace.

  • Editing such as adding the customer's watermarks, changing colors or drawing over the commissioned piece then publishing it, is prohibited.

USAGE

  • If for any reason I will not be able to work on your commission, you will receive an e-mail about it and a full refund via PayPal. Do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

  • The customer is not allowed to refund once I start working on your comission.

  • If you cancel the order before I started it, you can receive a full refund.

  • If you will request a Paypal chargeback after the finished commission will be sent your way, you will lose all rights to the commissioned piece and I will have a full right to later profit from the piece. I will then submit Paypal with our coversations which proves completing your commission on my side. You will be blacklisted from commissioning me in the future.

TERMS OF SERVICE (COMICS ONLY)

PRICING RULES

  1. The base price comes from the most expensive character cut that's included on the comic page.

  2. If a full body is present in one of the frames, half body would cost 75% of the base price and portrait would cost 50% of the base price.

  3. Same rule apply to pages where half-body is the most expensive cut. Portrait will then cost 75% of the base price.

  4. The page's price is highly dependant on its composition.

  5. If the composition is simple aka little amount of frames, the action is less dynamic and characters appear less, the page will be cheaper.

  6. If the composition is more complicated, with more frames, detailed backgrounds, rapid action and more characters' appearances, the page will be accordingly more expensive.

  7. Comics are not paid in advance. The invoices will be sent after the client approves of the pages' composition.

CREATION PROCESS

  1. After the client provides all required information, only then the creation process begins.

  2. Accordingly to the client's decision, I'll start working either on the first or first two pages of the comic and then send the sketches for their confirmation.
  3. Once the pages are approved by the client, I'll then send the invoice for those first page or pages via Paypal.
  4. The process will repeat (if the comic will turn out longer than two pages) after the first pages are fully done and sent over to the client via e-mail they previously provided.
